This handwoven Tangaliya shawl brings alive old tradition from Kutch, Saurashtra. Woven on a pit loom using extra weft technique. Bhujodi style approach, the shawl features tiny twisted threads called "danna" that form raised 3D dots and geometric motifs. The maroon field and white dot pattern create a timeless, elegant contrast that works as a shawl, decorative throw.

About Tangaliya weaving
Tangaliya is a specialised weave from the Kutch–Saurashtra region. The technique uses extra weft threads twisted into small raised knots called danna to create bead-like dot patterns and geometric designs. Traditionally woven by the Dangasia community, Tangaliya shawls are GI-protected for their unique craft identity and heritage value. These dots are woven on pit looms.
