Batik Print saree is a resist dyeing technique. Batik prints are done by parts of plain fabric, which are covered by wax and then the fabric is dyed. The fabric is later boiled to remove the wax. The areas covered by wax retain their original color; after that it creates beautiful designs and patterns. Cracked batiks are developed in the wax by crumpling the fabric, leading to seepage of the dye into the area covered by wax. Batik print sarees now in trend. Bhujodi saree Kutch, Gujarat
