This handwoven Tangaliya shawl brings alive old tradition from Kutch, Saurashtra. Woven on a pit loom using extra weft technique. Kutch sheep wool and a Bhujodi style approach, the shawl features tiny twisted threads called "danna" that form raised 3D dots and geometric motifs. The black field and white dot pattern create a timeless, elegant contrast that works as a shawl, decorative throw.

About Tangaliya weaving
Tangaliya is a specialised weave from the Kutch–Saurashtra region. The technique uses extra weft threads twisted into small raised knots called danna to create bead-like dot patterns and geometric designs. Traditionally woven by the Dangasia community, Tangaliya shawls are GI-protected for their unique craft identity and heritage value. These dots are woven on pit looms.
